This model was one of the earliest detail models Hornby had Made in England, Sadly the only models that are available now are Secord hand and cost upwards of £150 +
It would be nice if Hornby started making this model again in England this would prove to sell extremely well regardless if the model was sold £200 +
But if they made the model train in china I don't think many collectors would buy this model for their collection, maybe just as a step in model to allow the original to sit in its box.
I know I would only buy if it was under £75, I love Hornby trains to bits but they are starting to get overprice for a product of china where the land is cheaper but the retail price has somehow gone up 30 percent whilst manufactoring in china.
